Happy New Year Neighbors!
We hope you are doing well and staying healthy. It has been a challenging year in many ways, but there finally seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel, and hopefully, a return to normalcy on the horizon. We know times may be tough for many who do not have the ability to work from home, or who have been displaced due to current circumstances. If anyone needs assistance, please let one of us know, and we can put you in touch with someone who can help. We have had several neighbors reach out to let us know they are able and willing to help, if necessary.
The board has decided to postpone the annual meeting until the summer when, we hope, we can meet in person. Possibly a summer BBQ, or just an outdoor meeting where we can socially distance properly. A virtual meeting was discussed, but we felt it might exclude those who may not be comfortable with the technology.
We will be sending out notices next month for annual dues payments, so please be on the look out for those around mid-February. Included in the notices will also be financial statements, a proposed budget, and information regarding potential changes to our CC&Rs.
The street parking situation continues to be an issue. If it is at all possible, please make every effort to park in your driveway. With increased delivery trucks throughout the neighborhood and many more cars due to schools being virtual, it is often difficult to navigate around the blind spots in the neighborhood. As the weather improves, and children are more active outdoors, please be extra diligent as you drive through, and be mindful of your speed.
Thank you all for being extra diligent and looking out for one another. Please remember to lock your cars doors at night, and be on the look out for suspicious activity.
